SIMposium 2011 – the best yet?
When an event is positioned as ‘evolving’ the pressure to deliver is intense. But deliver SIMposium did, to the delight of sponsors, delegates and speakers alike. While the public face the show; the format and the branding remained unchanged, the real difference was under the surface; in the content, the presentations and the focus areas; security, identity and mobile.
Over the past twelve months the SIMalliance has made huge progress in bringing together an extended, and often disparate, ecosystem of application developers, global payment providers, manufacturers, end-user brands and of course, mobile network operators to tackle some of the biggest issues that touch the mobile device.
The executive interviews
We were lucky enough to capture a host of executives on camera during SIMposium 2011; from Telecom Italia to Sprint Nextel, the GSMA to Global Platform and consults ABI Research, Human Chain and Futuretext. See their interviews below.
